Cartridge or Loose Bearing Hub?

I assume these are cartridge bearing hubs, but I don't know for sure, they are Suntour Sprint hubs. Nothing wrong with them I want to know for my own knowledge.

It's a shield over the cartridge sealed bearing, Have a wheel set left from My 80's Specialized Expedition.
still rolls fine .. an effective protection from grit contamination.
