how to remove break hoods?
 

Trying to remove arrow break hoods so that I can remove break levers and install a new stem. Quick search revealed little other than "use a hair dryer", which I dont have.

So far ive been able to peel them back from the handle bars, and wiggle them off a little so that the top arrow point moves a little behind the arrow hood groove, but not much beyond that.

If you want to remove Aero Brake levers then yes a 5 mm allen key is what you want

1. you don't remove brake hoods to remove brake levers.
