How to clean chain before first White Lightning application

Hi
I am about to apply chain lube for the first time to my new Bianchi. It has about 150 miles and I wipe the chain after each ride. I bought White Lightning, since the manufacturer of my chain seems to call for 'dry lube'

http://www.kmcchain.com/index.php?ln=en&fn=service#2

This manufacturer info also says to avoid solvent cleaning and really any harsh cleaning at all. But the White Lightning says to do a cleaning before the first use. So, how should I clean the chain before this first application? Or, should I just slap on some wet lube? I really don't use this bike in wet/rain.

Thanks
Mike

The stock lubrication on chains is quite good. I'd be hesitant to clean it off after 150 miles, which is pretty much like zero in terms of chain life.

Wait until 1000 miles then remove and clean the chain. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/brandt/chain-care.html
