Shifter Help: Cable Stuck

i have a cable stuck in an ultegra 6400 shifter...any good advice on how to get it out?

i was testing it after a purchase; i felt a lot of resistance and sticking when shifting w/o cable, then i put one in to test it properly...it still sucked, and now its stuck.
