Aside from ~7 grams, is there any difference between Force & Rival brake calipers?

Everything that I have read says that they are nearly identical.

If they have the same stopping power, I'll go with Rival.

Is there any difference between 2009 & current models?

Brake pads is going to make a significantly larger difference than between force and rival.
