Your capitalization and punctuation marks blew off as well. That's a very tough block of words to read. Put some effort into it and somebody might reciprocate.
Me? I have no idea what your question is.

You have to give him partial credit though. He mastered the apostrophe.

Sorry about that. I'm really tired.Basically what i am asking is.That i noticed that one of the caps on my forks is missing. The problem is that I don't know if its a dust cap or part of my shocks. My preload is still there thats why i think its a dust cap. My Forks are Sprinner Grind's. I think that they are spring Shocks. basically what I want to know is can I buy this cap if thats what it is.
hope this is better my grammar is bad I know and I am sorry if its hard to read

what kind of bike is this? brand/model. I don't quite understand this part; *"hey guy's just got a new bike about two weeks ago and road it home aligned my disc brakes took it for a ride to my friends place got home was tuning my derailers"*

was this a brand new bike from bike shop or some sporting goods/ department store? unless you did a century on the way home and to your friends I can't understand how anything was out of adjustment that quick. if it was a new bike from a bike shop you should not be fooling around adjusting anything.

it would also help to know the brand and model of fork

Ya sorry about that its not new. I just got it two weeks ago.Got it off a girl that got pregnant 2 times while she had the bike . And only got to ride it a couple times. Its a Sports Mart bike a 2007 Tribal Ridge Back Disc.I think it was all cable stretch. And the Forks are Spinner Grind's. Sorry about That was really tired when I wrote it.
Thanks Dave

With the fork, would be suppried if you can get spares, as it if low end, an a couple of years old, if it's not affecting performance, would live with it if possible.

For the BB, without knowing the brand / type could just need adjusting if not used much; or could need replacing. Have found that for a squre taper type which I expect you have, these will get stiff before play play occurs, and this is only after a lot of miles.

If it's a low end fork, the cap is probably just for asthetics and to keep dirt and water out. You may be able to find a plug to fit at the hardware store, or, a handle bar plug might fit.

If it was anything other than a dust cap (like a spring retainer or preload adjuster) then it would probably make a very big difference to how the for performas - like it would only have half the necessary spring foce and the fork would basically be sitting at its lowest point and have very little or no travel left to absorb bumps. If the fork still seems to be working properly then it was likely just a dust cap and you can use any cap that fits - handlebar caps, champagne corks, bathtub stopper, etc.

Thanks I know the forks are cheap and the reload is still there.I'll try a bar end or something.I want to replace them with something better. When I have the money any way.I was just worried that they wouldn't last that long. the bike was cheap. I Just wanted a entry level trail bike not doing anything major with it and the price was right. The BB is a sr sun tour.I hope it dose just need to be adjusted. But it dose have play at 12 and 6 o'clock and if i push on drive side the other pedal moves. So Thats why I thought it was done for.
Thanks

You guy's are not going to believe this.I went like 10 k the day that I lost it.And its bin 4 days. But I knew I lost it on the way back.1/10000 chances of finding it. But about 5-10 min away from my house. And just after the bike path started there it is was just lying there cleaned it off and jammed it in. Couldn't believe I found it. then I put back in I can see how it came out. It almost fall's in Barley had to push. Think I'm going to put a couple layers of teflon tape on it. Sorry guys didn't think I would ever find It.

Most threads are left up as they can be a useful resource the next time someone comes along and searches for "fork cap" or the like.

You want to be careful with that.

Glad your problem was sorted out.
