best source for bulk cables & housings

for a DIYer with a bunch of bikes, anyone got a recommendation for a good source for bulk good quality cables & housings? Mostly mine are Shimano/SRAM but a few are Campy 10 speed. Thanks in advance.

I buy the kits, Shimano for Shimano, Campy for Campy. The kits come with everything you need except cutters and bar tape. The short housing at the rear derailleur is pre-cut to the correct length.

Loose Screws or BikeTools Etc for bulk housing and packages of inner wires. They sell Jagwire shift cables with two ends, one Shimano and the other Campy, which greatly reduces the inventory problems.

I find the pre-packaged kits to be wildly expensive for what you get. You pay a great premium for the minor convenience.

velo-orange.com. Their complete kits run $10 for the basic colored set or I think $15 a pop for the sets with metal-braided housing. Each set comes with two brake cables or two derailer cables and appropriate housing.

+1 Niagara. Watch their clearance section for some really hot deals. I use their lined brake housing and pretty much all of their basic cables (SS and galvanized, depending on the bike). Been using their stuff for years.

If you buy from Niagara, be prepared for really slow shipping. If you need something fast, go elsewhere (but pay more).

Try finding 50 foot rolls of lined brake cable housing, in colors, for $10.99 anywhere else: https://www.niagaracycle.com/product_...ucts_id=430895

I have picked up their lined housing on sale for as low as $6 a roll (does not go on sale very often). On bikes to resell, I find colored housing really makes the bike pop and shows pride of ownership.

Loose Screws has their 12 foot rolls on sale right now for $11.70 (over 4X more).

I have occasionally scored some Shimano stainless cables on ebay. Got a box of 100 stainless cables for under $30 (30 cents each for stainless Shimano cable is unbelievable). Hard to find deals like that one, but when they show up, pounce. I also bought a couple of boxes of stainless cables from a bike shop that had closed. Deals like that are the rare exception, otherwise, I buy from Niagara.
