Good quality but inexpensive pedals
I’m selling two bikes, a modern hybrid and a 25 year old road bike. I installed clipless pedals on these bikes and want to replace these with good quality but inexpensive flat pedals.
Any suggestions?

Do you want to replace them with clipless pedals?
Caged pedals from Wellgo, DK, and even Nashbar usually are around the $20 mark (like these), and they last for a while considering the price. Only caveat is they are usually too tight out of the box, and require some adjusting to get smooth.

MKS? You can get the rubber rebuildable style for around $25 for the hybrid and they have an all metal style for about the same.
Is $25 too much?

Wellgo on ebay-flat pedals for maybe $17 delivered.
I'm still a tiny bit of a weight weenie- got some 230 gram Wellgo's for $17 delivered.
You can get sturdier ones for the same $$.

Constant tinkerer
You're selling the bikes? Just get the cheapest pedals you can that aren't all plastic. Plastic pedals look cheap. No need to be concerned with weight, quality, etc. on a bike you're getting rid of.

With regards to MTBer Jim's first link : I doubt the road bike takes 1/2" pedals, so you probably don't want to buy those.
