X-7 Trigger Shifter - Easy Fix for Indicator Misalignment?
Some time over the past few rides, the indicator for my X-7 trigger shifter (RD) has slipped. It's now in a position one lower than the actual gear. Shifts themselves still work fine through all the gears, so the problem is really just an annoyance. Still, anyone know of a quick and easy fix, or should I just wait until I replace the cables? TIA
(It's just an annoyance now that I know about it. Before figuring it out, I was beginning to think I had totally lost all power. "I know I rode that hill in 5th gear last week!?!" )

You could put electrical tape over the indicator. The X7 triggers I put on one bike has no indicators and I've adapted to having a general idea of what cog I'm in - can't look back and see the cassette on my recumbent.
Looking at that shifter and the X9 (with indicators) on another bike, can't tell exactly what can be taken apart to get access for possible adjustment. Or if its advisable/possible to do that.
Someone else may know exactly what to do about this.
