if so, and the guide isn't threaded, your best bet may be to leave it as is and use a stepped ferrule. If you need an adjuster, you can use one inline on the housing.
If you want to thread it, start by measuring the ID, and seeing what the thread nearest available adjusting barrel has, then go to a tap drill chart like this one
to see what you need to drill it out to, then drill and tap it. The close clearance to the tube will make this job a royal pain, but it is possible. Now that you see the implications, you might decide to simply use the stepped ferrule.
In any case do not start the job, until you've laid out what you'll need, and how you'll do it.
