Everest Freewheel Help

Can anyone tell me if a Everest Freewheel has English treads, or how can I tell?

There are no markings on the freewheel. It is a Extraleggera Nova by Everest. Also does it use a FR-4 removal tool?

Thanks

Most (but not all) the Everest freewheels you'd run into in the USA will have English threads. They exported English thread freewheels, and only shipped Italian threaded models within their home market. The best way to check the thread is on a hub. The Italian thread version will be noticeably sloppy on an ISO hub.

As for the remover, the early versions used the identical 2-prong raised ring system as Regina, but later on they switched over to the Atom splined system which the FR-4 fits.

Thanks again for your help..... Yep, it's a english thread. Looks to be a very high quality freewheel.

Ooohhh... shiny!! I wouldn't buy one except as a paperweight- at 220 pounds, I'd rather go on a diet than buy lightweight bike parts.
