'Wobbly Brookes B67'

Hi Guys,
I have a Brookes B67 saddle, purchased in August 2008, and it feels a bit loose. In fact, very loose..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsC_DT3_0-Y

A friend has the same saddle in tan, bought more or less at the same time, and it's bone-hard. Mine isn't uncomfortable per se, but I'm guessing that that amount of wobble isn't a good thing. Does anyone know how I adjust/tighten it?

Thanks.

Brooks saddles have a adjustment nut under the nose of the saddle. You should have gotten a wrench with the saddle. Yes that saddle looks really loose not just a little.
How did that saddle get so loose?

I have no idea. Also, the springs at the back seem to be loose, as the two 'hoops' that one could use for a toolkit bag, rotate freely.

So how many turns do you reckon I give the little nut under the nose?

I have one Brooks and I haven't needed to adjust the tension yet. Did it gradually get that way? Or just get loose this year?

Iwould tighten til it's stiff like new.

You may want to ask in the touring forum since lots of the tourers use Brooks.
