nashbar chain rings
Would I be ok with putting Nashbar brand chain rings to my shimano crank.
I have a SRAM chain. Would there be any problems with skipping etc?

Match the bolt circle diameter, buy a new chain..
BTW Nashbar doesn't make anything it sells, they just reship what they buy in bulk
a big enough order to have their name printed on it.

I haven't been impressed with the build quality of Nashbar-brand cassettes in the past and would *guess* that their chainrings would be similar. Is it just a cost issue, or did you have some other reason for trying the Nashbar rings?

I also have not been impressed with the Nashbar branded cassettes. I don't know about their chainrings. I have been impressed with the Nashbar branded 9 speed chains.

Nashbar's chains are rebranded KMC's which have a good reputation under their actual makers name too.
