Best way to wrap handlebars.
I have a ten speed that i just finished restoring with shimano 600 groupo and kinlin wheels.
Now i want to wrap the bars in cloth or a nice thin bar tape, But whats the nicest way to wrap it, By nicest i mean visually.
I heard wrapping it backwards, Like starting from the top and wrapping it too the bottom looks nice, also is there a easy guide for wrapping with the brake lever (hoods) if i dont have one of those 3 inch strips, I know i have to wrap around the hood lever some how, But im not sure. Im used to wrapping base bars...

Starting from the stem looks nicer since you don't need any "finishing tape" but it's not as durable since the overlaps leave the exposed edges at the top where your hands tend to separate them. Starting at the ends requires finishing tape at the stem but lasts longer.
