Bikes: Had a Surly Cross Check - was totaled in recent accident. Sadly now just a Fuji Crosstown as a backup bike.

Longshot that someone knows first hand about the 2011 stock Salsa Casseroll?

http://salsacycles.com/bikes/casseroll/

The build specs are here. It has a formula hub. I've read that most formula hubs are cartridge bearings, but these look like they have a cone nut on them. If it is a cup/cone loose ball type hub, I probably need to adjust preload and go ahead and put plenty of good grease in it. Anyone happen to know if these are cartridge bearing hubs or not? I have no idea how you tell, I've usually dealt with shimano hubs with the loose balls. I didn't want to open these up with that cone looking nut unless I knew what I was getting into.

There are no markings on the hub.

The hub looks like this one, in fact it is almost identical except there is no formula printed on it
