please help
I just got ran over by a car while riding my bike and my wheels are all bent. They are Alex DH20 double walled alloy non-disk rims with stainless steel spokes and brass nipples. I was wondering if anyone knows of a comparable wheel set or the value of the ones I just listed, or a new cheap <$100 set that is a good deal? Thanks for your help!

Offhand I can't suggest a particular pair, but a quick search of the net should yield a bunch of options. Assuming these were the original wheels on a bike, a factory pre-built wheel with similar components would be of equal quality.
Question, did the driver stop? and was he at fault? if so you're entitled to be made whole with wheels fully up to comparable specs.
BTW- you didn't say, is it correct to assume you're OK? If so go celebrate your good fortune.

If you are paying for the repairs, I would just post a WTB wheels on your local Craigs List in the bicycles for sale section. I have bought dozens of sets of used wheels, the most I have paid was $40, and that included decent tires, tubes, skewers and the cassette. For MTB wheels I tend to get them for less, typically half that amount.
If the car driver is funding the repair, I would take it to a bike shop.
Regardless, I would have the frame checked FIRST before I bought anything. It would be pretty unusual to ruin both wheels and not have frame damage.
