Replacement parts for Shimano 105 side pull brakes? [pics]
I took my brakes apart to clean them up, and i've seemed to have misplaced a part!! The brakes are br-1050 from the late 80s. It's a threaded piece that holds the spring. Is this something I can order somewhere, or something similar? I was thinking i might just find a bolt that threads, and put the slit in myself to fit the spring.

I had the same brakes and liked them.
There are no parts for these brakes available anymore. Why not try to find an old pair for spare parts?
