Need a new sprocket

What exactly should I look for relative to the specs of my wheel? It says my wheel is a 19t and a 7-speed bike... is there anything else I should know?

https://www.slanecycles.com/shimano-s...n&currency=USD

Also, is this trustworthy?

Do you need a new freewheel or cassette? How many cogs? What range?

This sprocket: https://www.slanecycles.com/shimano-s...n&currency=USD will fit this wheel: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...-2147483553-20 , but that's only one sprocket out of a "cluster" of 8 or 9 sprockets. It would be helpful to know what kind of bicycle you're going to be putting this wheel on, in particular how many "speeds" it's set up on the rear wheel.

I think you should be shopping for a "cassette", like this: https://www.slanecycles.com/shimano-a...t-p-11028.html but we need more information.

It's a 7-speed.

As for the type of bike, it's a Schwinn S-60 DSX

In fact, it looks just like the one pictured here: https://www.singletracks.com/mtbrevie...-DSX/1040.html

still doesn't answer the question, but for such a cheap bike , It's probably a freewheel..

bike shops know the difference , go to one, since you don't.

Still not enough information.
Cluster can mean either a cassette or freewheel. It's not specific enough. Did they say why you need a new one ? Why not have them replace it for you ?

That is not a 7 speed compatible wheel, so I suspect it's not what you have.

Lots of bike part look similar, but have slight variations based on the year, model, brand etc .... so without specific information, you can't get a specific answer.

They don't carry them.

It seems to fit on my bike. Do I need a different wheel?

I bought my bike in late 2008. I'll get more info soon. Also, I'm using a different wheel - I'm replacing my back wheel.

I just looked again, the only other thing on the bike is "SR Suntour". Here's a few pictures.

As we slowly pry the information from you, will we give up before we get it all ? I still don't really know what you're doing or why.

What's wrong with your old wheel ? Got a picture of it ? You have a new wheel ? So you need a cassette to go on it ? If your shifters are 7 speed, then you need a 7 speed compatible wheel (not 8-9-10). Why can't the bike shop order the parts, or at least tell you specifically what you need, since they have seen it in person ?

Here's how you could have made your first post:

Hi, I have a Schwinn mountain bike. It has 7 speeds and I'm replacing the wheel because _________. Below is a picture of the bike, and here's a closeup of the old wheel & cogs. What kind of cogs do I need to put on the new wheel ? Or can I move them over ?

Try to give as much info as possible in the first place next time.

No - I accidentally threw it away before I got a chance to take the cassette off.

Yes I do.

They did, actually, but were kinda vague, mentioning a 7-speed cluster. As for ordering the parts, I wanted to do my own research on it so I'd know what to do.

Sorry, I'll do that next time.

Do you know the specifics of your new wheel ? Is it a 7 speed cassette body ?
Where di you get it ? If you're not sure about the cassette body, then some good closeup pictures might help someone identify it.
