bike part.....what.s it called
i mean the stay on the left side of the frame opposite to the chainstay. is it a chainstay also? or is it a lazy stay, idler stay or something?
it does offer some support to the chain, but not directly, so i suppose it could be the secondary chainstay?

I believe that they are both the chain stays. Plural. If you want to distinguish between the two you could either say left or non-drive side chain stay.

They're both chain stays. Structurally they work as a pair, the same way the fork blades, and seat stays do. In most cases there's no reason to refer to the left or right individually, but if the need arises, keep it simple and just say left or right chain stay.
