Stuck recessed brake nut in carbon fork

I'm trying to swap out brakes, but the nut is completely stuck. I've used more force than I'm comfortable with to try to loosen it. Anybody have ideas?

Is the bolt stripped/stripping? If not completely, stick the hex into the bolt to hold it in position. Then twist the brake caliper counter-clockwise, as if you were unscrewing it from the brake caliper side. Not an ideal solution, as it may scratch your fork a tiny bit (if any at all). Naturally, you will have to have your wheel off to do this.

I had a similar situation and this did the trick.

Thanks. I actually completely removed the brake by unscrewing it. The nut will not budge. Evidently it's stuck inside of the fork, rather than the threads being the problem.

screw an m6 bolt(v brake mounting bolt or headset preload bolt) in from the front and knock it out with a hammer
