wellgo/origin8 track pedals stiff - which way to to turn bearings bolt
I got a used pair of Wellgo pedals. These are identical to Origin8 Pro track lite pedals. The pair I have is stiff. After popping off the cap, there is a bolt that holds the spindle in place. Do I turn this bolt counter-clockwise to loosen, like a standard bolt? Or does this follow the same scheme as the direction I turn to remove the pedal from the crank arms?
EDIT: I should correct my post by saying "nut" instead of "bolt". The nut is holding it in place.

Should be standard righty-tighty, lefty-loosey for both pedals, left and right. At least for most of my wellgo's it's been that way. You know, new out of the box, the pedals are tight too and I get great service out of them, but only after adjusting them first.

Hmm... the bolts seem impossibly tight to remove. Are my cheap pedals even meant to be serviceable like this? Or is it due to the fact that they are used?

Just like hubs, on most pedals there is a cone and then a locknut on top of it. If you're trying to loosen the cone you'll never be able to. You should be able to loosen the nut, unless it's not actually a nut but some sort of locking device on there if the pedals are not adjustable.
