yann haur brakes/levers?

not sure this is exactly the right place to post since i'm not having trouble with anything, but i figured the mechanic area would be the place with the most knowledgeable people about my question.

i own an old junker road bike (a st. tropez la sport) and it has yann haur brake calipers and levers. i've never heard of yann haur, and the fact that google gives me no information about the company makes me curious, even though i assume they're just the old stock brakes that came on my bike. the only thing i found is this, which makes me wonder if yann haur was the parent company of tektro at some point?

brakes are functioning fine despite their presumed age, i'm just hoping someone can help my assuage my curiosity about their (probably very underwhelming) origins.

Looks like the parent firm that makes Tektro. Probably one of the faceless asian factories that make parts for others.

Google "Yann Haur Bicycle" and get several hits....
