Bearing Size in Threaded Headset of my 1997 Specialized MR2 Pro?

I'm too lazy to open it, measure, then order bearings...

What sized bearinggs should I get for the Threaded Headset of my 1997 Specialized MR2 Pro?

    Thanks,

    Al

Can't be sure without looking at yours but many loose ball (or retainer held ball) headsets I've worked on used 5/32" balls. However some use 3/16" so your guess is as good as mine as to what you have. Give up and look before you order or buy a variety-pack of bearing balls.

Thanks, Hill. On Amazon I've ordered 144 each 1/4, 3/16, and 5/32 bearings, which should keep me in stock for hub and headset overhauls for a while.
