fork stretching/bending?
i'm working on a ratrod THUNDER JET and i know it may not seem like the smartest idea, but i only need a few microns (very little space) for enough tire clearance.
the forks are some kind of older, tapered forks.
any tips would be appreciated.

Is the problem that the tire rubs the inside of the fork blades ?
Get a thinner tire, or wider fork.
I suppose you could put a small indent inside the fork blade for clearance, similar to those in some chainstays.... depends on your ability.
