How many chains in rotation?

I’ve seen advice on here (by FBinNY and others who's opinion I value) that rotating chains can improve the overall life of the drive train.

I expect to have to replace my drive train at the end of this summer so I will be putting all new parts on. My question is how many chains should I go with? I plan to rotate them every week or two and hope to run them past 1% stretch until things start skipping.

Note: It's a 10 speed system. I'm thinking a 105 cassette and KMC DX-10 chains if it makes a difference.
