Old Proteus - Worth repairing? Does it have any resale value?

I inherited an old Proteus with a bad front fork. It appears to be all Cromo and is very light considering how large the frame is with top notch but old components. The frame is too big for me with a 38" stand-over. I am wondering what to do with it. Components: Black Ultralarge Frame with Campagnolo dropouts and all the nice dodads, 700x23C Conti Gatorskin tires, Matrix 750 Rims, Freewheel hub = SACKS LY 99 7 speed 13-15-17-19-21-23-25. Shimano LX Delore rear derailleur, Campagnolo front derailleur, Shimano Ultegra Crank 175mm triple A52-B38-A30, Campagnolo breaks & hand levers(hoods shot). Shimano bar end shifter levers, Cinelli Campiono Del Mondo drop bars 66-42. Shimano DuraAce seatpost.
So, does this have any value? How hard is it to find a replacement front fork? I'm thinking, I'll let the next owner deal with it, or sell as components. But am I likely to find a buyer for the whole package, or buyers for the components? If so, which is the better way to go? I'm not liking the idea of just trashing this really nice old bike, but it is too big for me and I'm not really interested in throwing these older components into a new frame. I can do many of my own repairs but have not taken on a front fork replacement yet.

Needs expensive repairs + doesn't fit you anyway = Craigs List. Or try your luck on C&V and maybe you'll get an offer from someone who can use it, or buy it for parts.

Auctions will tell you what its worth at the time you are selling it, to those who are bidding.
