Phil Wood Bottom Bracket (JIS) size differences?

Hello everyone i have started rebuilding on old Bianchi road bike i picked up from a friend. My goal is to turn it into a fixed gear bicycle. i have been looking at Phil wood bottom brackets especially the (JIS) model. I notice there are many numbers ranging from 70 - 155. Would someone mind explaining the difference in these numbers. are these measurements, or how long they protrude? thanks

It's the spindle length. You need to get one that matches the requirements of your crankset.

What does this have to do with FGFS?

Moving to mechanics.

He knew we'd pay out on him for turning a nice bike into a SS?

Turning a Bianchi into a fixed gear is not exactly what i'd call "rebuilding".

More like, "editing a really good book into the Reader's Digest condensed version."
