Road Tube Repair
This morning while i was riding, i hit a sharp bump and tore the inner tubes of my road wheels. I'm wondering if it's even worth it to patch it or just get new tubing?
The wheels are 700 x 28/32, and the tear is about 1-1.5 cm long.
Thanks in advance.

If they have long (1/4 inch or longer) gashes/tears in them, replace them. Don't even think about patching at that point.

+1 Punctures and small holes can be repaired. Tears mean a new tube.

A double patch is cheaper than a new tube.

I always use a replacement tube on the road but take the punctured tube home with me. Then, on a rainy Saturday, I'll get out my patching stuff and fix however many I've saved up.
On a hole that big I'd make an attempt using a larger than typical patch and test it overnight in my workshop. If it holds, I'm good to go. Generally on a snake bite a single patch will cover both slits.
