Gravel Bike Build
I recently got bit by the gravel racing bug and have started building a bike for racing and just general adventuring. Check out my budget build and let me know what you think of it:

Rock Racing: Gravel Bike Build - Part 2
Anybody else have gravel builds going on? I would love to see what your doing too.

You've now inspired me. I have a Nashbar framed MTB that's not getting used. Maybe with a set of drop bars and bar end shifters it would be more useful..

You may want to check the measurements you have made for your fork, @130mm that is a non standard size, fork OLD is normally 100mm, with 135mm being used for fat bikes.
Would be of interest to what you are doing with gearing, as you say you are looking at a 1x10 setup, but have a 53/39 crank, you may find you are over geared with a 39 if going off road. Also no mention of intended brakes yet, you don't have many options if using road shifters (STI's) until Hydraulics come onto the retail market, Avid BB5/7 road or Shimano R505 are about it at the moment, what were you looking at?

Thanks, I will double check my fork measurements.
I'm intending to try it out with the 39 ring, and a 11-34 rear cassette. Might have to adjust from there.
Planning on BB5/BB7 brakes depending on what I can find for prices.
