I Need Help Identifying This Seatpost

I saw a picture of a beautiful seatpost that I'd like to buy but cannot find after much browsing. Unfortunately I no longer have a photo but have this information about it. Can someone identify it?
•Black. Not sure if it was carbon or not.
•Had a stylized "C" on it.
•Was described as a Campagnolo C-Record seatpost (although I have never seen any Campy seatpost like this before and highly doubt it really was a campy).
•Traditional round (possibly 25mm) post which transitioned to an aero profile
•Saddle rail attachment was the most distinguishing feature. It was composed of what appeared to be disks with a concave furrow around their perimeter (like a clothline pulley) on either side of the post. The bottom of each saddle rail rested on these. Then there was some other type of attachment (was hard to see detail) on the upper side of each saddle rail. From the picture it seemed like this whole setup was designed to make it easy to make adjustments to the fore/aft positioning of the saddle.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

Most definitely not a Campy. There were a few posts that used addle rails similar to what you describe (as best as I can tell) but the design fell out of favor because it places excess stress on the rails.

These were (are) OK for CrMo steel railed saddles, but aren't suited to modern saddles with CF, Ti, or tubular rails. Good design calls for broad, shaped support on the button, and clamping applied directly above the support so the clamps neither crush nor bend the rails.

Try punching "seatpost" into Google image search: https://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi and see if you can find it from photos.

I don't know if this is it, but...

It could also be any brand seatpost with a Ciocc "C" on it. I if it's shaped kinda like a football, that's what it could be....

Good point. Other than carbon forks shearing off, I cannot think of a worse failure than having my saddle rails snap. Ouch.

Good thought but it wasn't a CIOCC "C". I seem to recall a large, stylized serif on the bottom part of the "C".

Nope. Nope.

The circular sections at the top were quote large and the section of the post protruding from the frame had a very aero shape.
