Need help installing Carbon seatpost

I bought a BBB seatpost off e-bay, it is in good condition, but did not come with instructions, what do i need to know when installing it that is different from installing a steel/alloy seatpost? I once saw a guy at a bike shop reversing the clip that holds the seatpost when he installed a CF one, is that necessary in my case? I have a 2003 Cannondale R400 road bike
Thanks

You do not grease the post. In fact, make sure the seat tube is clean and burr free. There's nothing else fancy needed. Just don't over tighten the clamp.

nothing special must be done, just be cautious when clamping it. You dont need to go super tight here, just so it does not move when you sit on it is fine.

If there is grease in the seat tube be sure to clean it out very well before inserting the new post.

well, I got a Campy Record c-f seatpost; the best investment that I ever made so far on my bike. You won't be sorry, had You bought one of these AND at a bike shop that You have great relations with price matching the competitive prices. Never slipped on Me yet. Rarely needs tightenting: only once within NO less than 1500 miles. But then I'm 5'8 125 pounds.
