DT Swiss RR 1600 Wheels and Hubs - How to Maintain?

I had this question buried in another thread. Hope you don't mind the repeat but someone has to be able to give me a lead on this.

I picked up a new 2012 Cannondale Synapse Carbon 3 this past week. It came with a basic Cannondale manual, but with nothing on the components. I'm particularly interested in the DT Swiss RR1600 Wheels and Hubs that were included. A search of the DT Swiss website yields no hits for that model number and it isn't mentioned in their catalog or support pages. Between the ratchet system and the unusual construction, I'd really like to read up on how to use, maintain and service them.

There are some Youtube hits on similar items, but nothing references the RR1600. the hubs aren't identified separately and the DT Swiss hub listing are a completely different series of numbers.

Any clarity or information you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Also, do you know if the box would have contained more detailed component information from the manufactures and the LBS just didn't supply it? I have bought other bikes out of the box that had this documentation included.

Thank you,

Dan

If you bought the bike from an LBS, that's the first place I'd go for information. If you bought it on-line or used, contact Cannondale directly and see if they can provide any documentation.

Just in the way of follow up. The LBS was NO help in supplying any technical information. I wrote DT Swiss and they gave me a very nice response and indicated the RR1600 was in fact a 350 hub and the documentation on their site for that application was applicable. Hope this helps someone else wondering what these wheel sets are all about and how to maintain them.
