    SRM 7800 compatible with 7900 bb?

    I have 7900 cranks on my bike, and I'm looking at a 7800 SRM.

    Did the bottom bracket standard change? Or will they be compatible?

    For Shimano only, DA 7800/7900 cranks and bottom brackets are compatible with eachother. I have no idea about the SRM parts though.
    Why "derailer" is the correct way to spell the gear-change mechanism: sheldonbrown.com/derailer.html

    Yes.

    5 seconds with google (term = "7900 cranks on 7800 bb") yields this- http://weightweenies.starbike.com/fo...hp?f=3&t=86694

    Shimano : Click :: Campy :: Snap :: SRAM : Bang
