fork replacement
Hey guys, I have a Bianchi Pista that's been through two small accidents. Anyway, I'm wondering if there's anyway to figure out if it's dented at all in the slightest? If it is it's incredible hard to see. Any tricks?

Steel fork or carbon fork? Where and why do you suspect damage?

Haha, sorry forgot info. It's a steel fork.
I suspect damage because it has a very odd shape. It bends inward, then out towards the bottom.

If the fork is symmetrically bent in and out (blades are mirror images of each other) then it started out that way. The odds of a fork getting bent the same form 2 sides are about 1,000,000:1
This was a popular shape to keep more of the blade nearer to the wheels to improve aerodynamics.

What year Pista? Check the Bianchi USA website for a geomentry chart and measure your wheelbase.

Photos? When dealing with crashes it's hard to make blanket statements without actually seeing the bike. Does the bike ride/balance any differently then from before the incidents? Have you had a shop with frame experience look at it yet? Andy.

The wheelbase on a '05 Pista is anywhere from 934 to 978 depending on size. What size is your frame?
