    Wheel Fixing Questions...

I had a little accident and bent a spoke. I'm fixing it myself but...

    1) I took out the bent spoke and want to order a new one. Thing is, how are spokes measured so that I know what to order? From the inside bend to the end of the threads, perhaps?

    2) I purchased a "Spokey" wrench, this one. I'm using DT Swiss brass nipples. It pretty much works, but there's a little bit of play when it's engaged. Is this normal, or do I have the wrong wrench? Don't all DT Swiss nipples take the same-size wrench? I'm a bit OCD so it might be just me.

    Thanks!

You are going to order ONE spoke?
Why not just go to the LBS, hand them the spoke and $1 and let them measure & give you a new one?
