Need Help With Spring in Front Derailleur!

I was cleaning/lubing my bike and looks like I found something to fix! I just don't know what it is though. Here is a photo...

It looks like the spring needs to be re-wrapped and locked in at the end of the wire(were the right angle is) to one of the many slots. any recommendations on what to do?

Might be zero chance of anyone having just the spring when the whole FD is so cheap.

The FD's working in the pictured condition?

I'd try to put it back in its place, despite the generally good advice to let sleeping dogs lie.

Looks a bit flimsy for a FD spring. And possibly bent...

Most of them are brutally strong, and often a major PITA to hook up.

Of course, the FD won't work like this; you'll be able to shift into the big ring, but that's it.

it shifts into all the rings fine believe it or not. Trying to bend it back... where should the right angle go?

I bent the wire/spring back. Works great on the stand, now to test it on the local trails!
