Help for a campy athena 11 speed cassette problem

HI there

im not sure if im a NOOB or my lbs screwed me....

it started with my lock ring breakin (se photo) then when a wanted to replace it there dosnt' seem to be room for all 11 cogs on the body (see photo) the cogs are all evenly spaced (se photo again ) i put everything back in exactly the order i took it of... there a a small metal spacer on the inside and outside of the first cog and normal plastic spacers between the rest... it seems strange that it should only be the lock ring that holds the 11'th cog but have i done something wrong or could my lbs have installed 11 cogs on a 10 speed body

So you don't know if it's a 10s or 11s body on your hub? How could that be, did the LBS replace it? More info would help.

The lock ring broke and then i took it apart and when i tried to put i all back...no room for the last cog... the wheel are stock as i bought them with the bike... Anyway for me to check if its a 10 or 11 speed hub? the wheels are mavic ksyrium... the cheapest model i gather..

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

AFAIK Campagnolo uses the same hub and freehub for 9s-11s, so that isn't a factor. The 1st sprocket of an 11s system is double width, including the first spacer in one piece with it. This allows it to hang half on and half off the freehub, so the lockring bars on it and compresses the cassette assembly without bottoming on the freehub body.

Seeing that 10 sprockets are taking you to he end of the freehub, I have to wonder if Mavic freehubs are narrower than Campy, or if someone put your 11s cassette together with 10s spacers.
