2x spoke pattern? Can't find long spokes

One last time:
Go to an LBS. Have them set their rim-rods with the spoke ends set to the screwdriver flats of standard profile nipples. Let them give you a number.
Most alloy 27" rims will be 618-620 and some steel 27" rims will be 620-622. Only a very few would go higher.
If you are not careful, you'll end up with spokes too long - and you'll have to build the wheel twice - maybe even three times.
Save yourself the agony...
