troubleshooting a creak
While sitting and pedaling with some torque, hearing a creak that sounds like it would be the bottom bracket. Could there be any other culprits before I assume its the bb and rip into it?

Still learning
Pedals can creak. Check the tightness of the crank bolts/nuts too.

My recurring creak is the seat post to seat bolt.

creaking synchronous to pedaling is probably the hardest thing to diagnose. It can be anything from pedals, the pedal/crank thread, chainrings, BB, BB cup/frame connection, seat post, saddle, axle flex or movement in dropout (chain tension changes) or even the front end, headset, bars, stem.
Always start by changing pedals and if you're lucky that'll solve it. Otherwise, brace yourself for a long slow process.

troubleshooting a creak
Ok checked for creak standing up, nothing. So went to the seat. tightened seat bolt and saddle micro adjust bolt no joy. Then tightened brooks b67 spring attachments. Worked like a charm. No creak present whatsoever. Thanks guys, saved me a lot of time and $
