Question on internal routing..

i'm in the process of building up a carbon bike for my wife. i got her this nashbar carbon frame from their 21% sale.

i checked with their tech guy and they said this is internal cable routing and will need full length cable type.

would jagwire road pro work? i assume i wouldn't need to cut anything when routing it through the frame, except when sizing it to the rear brake?

finally.. how should i straighten the cable out before sliding it through?

thanks.

AFAIK, all gear cable kits, only provide enough housing for the HB/frame loops and the short RD loop. If you're going full housing, buy a roll, and loose inner wires, or a kit and roll, so you get the small bits.

I have jagwire Ripcord & hyper kits for both brake and gear, and ripcord index housing in 25' rolls, but I'm out of the plain black housing used in the Hyper kits, though I have it in red, blue, yellow and silver for both brake and index.

If interested, I can offer you a very competitive deal on any

Jagwire makes a Road Pro kit with extra housing that I believe will accomplish what you're after. I think it's called the Road Pro XL.

ah... thanks glfguy8

BTW.. I read some reviews on this frame that due to internal cable routing, one may experience cable slap against inside of the frame. Any way to prevent that?
