Bar/Stem sizing?
I have a set of Nitto track bars that are 25.4mm diameter and need a stem to go with them.... I have been scoping old quill stems on Ebay and there are very few in that clamp size. Could I use a 3ttt stem with the 25.8mm clamp diameter? .4mm doesn't seem like it would be a problem but I don't want to buy one and be disappointed. My other options are to just go for a Nitto stem although they are expensive or get a 26mm stem and a Nitto shim.
Any help would be appreciated!

25.4 is usually a mountain bike bar diameter. Were you looking in the roadbike section of Ebay? If you were, maybe you would have better luck looking in the mountain bike stuff. Also, you can buy shims for this. I don't remember where I have seen them, but I know they exist.

Problem Solver offers handlebar shims 25.4-26.0, LBS have them for about $8.50

I have never had a problem finding 25.4 mm stems on eBay, then again I am not from Scotland. Most of the ones I have seen are located in the US.
