wheelbuilding question..... 48 spoke suntour dual freehub in a 36 or 32 spoke wheel

I came across a lot of NOS Suntour dual freehubs,

these are a unique threaded rear hub with 3 splines and a special freewheel with a small knob, with the twist of a finger you can lock the freewheel and make it a fixed.

these are bmx hubs and actually a cool thing, now with the fixie craze

I just need to find a website that will point me to how to lace them up in 36,or 32 spoke hubs?

I think MrRabbit has a spoke calc spreadsheet that'll allow you to do partial laces. Can't say what'd work best w/o throwing some maths at it.
But basically, 48-to-32 would be doable through leaving every 3rd hole in the hub empty while 48-to-36 would be doable through leaving every 4th hole empty.

At a guess - awaiting some maths - I think a crow's foot lace 48-to-36 should work out OK with not too many different spoke lengths.

All those holes are there for a purpose. Find a 48h rim and use them Make sure the rims and spokes are neon colored, too.

But on a 36 hole rim, you could use 6 groups of 3 spokes per side, skipping every 4th hole (6*3 =18, 6*4=24)
or on a 32 hole rim, 8 pairs, skipping every 3rd hole (8*2=16, 8*3=24).
I guess to choose the best look you'd need to decide on #crosses .

If these are the Suntour duals I am thinking of they are a freewheel and not a freehub although the design is unique and not swappable.

This thread needs pictures and if you can spare one I'd be all over that.

you are correct..they are a freewheel, you can put a standard freewheel on the hub, but the locking freewheel will not work on a standard hub
