600 front hub is out?

I have a 600 front hub that felt like it was packed with sand. I did my homework and repacked the hub. It runs a lot better but I notice a small ticking and the wheel does not spin as it once did. It still work...at least a lot better than before I messed with it.

Should I try new bearings? If so what type, size, source? Or is there something eles. BTW this is my training set and don't want to spend too much time or money on em...

thanks!!!!

Cones may be too tight
Ball bearings are very cheap
Check cones for wear rings

Enjoy

Look for Campy bearings. You'll know they're the real thing when you see the little 'C' etched into each one.
