You have to take the bike off the trainer and go outside. (oops, I see great minds think alike)
Seriously, this is most likely a frozen or rusted out freewheel (or freehub) who's pawls no longer engage. Sometimes these respond to a complete flushing of old dried grease, but if the pawls or the springs are rusted out they're toast.

That's how I felt last night in the snow. Conditions were not good.
I'd recommend pedaling harder, so you can go nowhere faster.

I sort of feel sorry for the OP. Here he is with a problem and we're all taking it as a straight line.
To the OP, don't post straight lines when there's a full moon.
Otherwise, See my earlier post No.2 or 3 for the general answer. Or you might get more specific help if you post more detailed info. Ie. is a cassette or freewheel, is the chain turning, but slipping on the sprockets, or is the rear sprocket turning but not driving the wheel?

You have already posted two previous threads about this. You need to take your bike to the shop and stop wasting peoples time.

A new cassette will likely do nothing (unless the internal splines are slipping or something, which is highly unlikely). Sounds like your freehub pawls are not engaging. Do you live in the north country like me? I'd guess the cold is causing things like the lubricant in there to gum up and lock the pawls in a coasting position. Things to try: bring the bike indoors and let it warm up and see if that helps. Spray WD-40 in between the cassette and the axel -- not a permanent solution, but might help get things moving temporarily.

It's not the cassette, it's the freehub. Bring the entire wheel to the bike shop.

i've scanned Op's forum posts. i think he's taken upon him/herself to upgrade/mod a department store bike and has gotten in over his/her head. close to 50 posts about the same bike and drivetrain problems.
OP: please post pictures/videos of said problems with detailed descriptions or just take the bike to a shop.
EDIT: pictures/videos of YOUR, PERSONALLY OWNED, EXACT bike. not another "similar" bike or gear set from youtube, etc...

The minimal (and probably inaccurate) descriptions provided by the OP are useless to us, unless we want to write an essay to cover every possibility.
Take the bike to a shop and have them fix it. Clearly, your communication skills are not up to the task for us to help you over the internets.

"Thanks for your help but I'd rather do it myself for experiance because if you never try it you don't know if you are able to do it or not." (from another of the OP's posts)
I know some may think me negative, but your approach so far leads me to the "not" side of the equation. If you are going to be successful working on your bike you can't do so by following by rote instructions and videos. From losing a ball bearing when supposedly just changing a "hub skewer" to not being able to mount a rear wheel, to ordering disc brakes before you are familiar with them, to this problem, it really appears that you either don't possess or are not using the observation and logic necessary to be able to do proper work on your bike

from the posts, i gather that he/she wanted to upgrade the disc brakes on the bike, bought some better brakes, replaced the brakes and at some point or another broke the freehub replacing the drivetrain. i imagine the problem started when taking off the brakes. also a possibility; original braking system was substandard so chose to upgrade and broke the freehub dismantling the braking system from the rear wheel.
also, bought the bike second hand, not from the store. there's no telling what the bike has been through. this project seems like a loss.
