Fixing air pressure gauge on floor pump...

I have a Specialized floor pump. The pressure gauge has stopped working...it stays at 0 no matter how much air I pump into the tires. This is a great floor pump and, except for this problem, it has worked flawlessly.

Is this a fixable issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Many thanks.

So what did your Specialized Bike Brand dealer suggest?. I'd have asked there , First.

Im not one, so I am not familiar with that specific pump..

Silca Has spare gages , as another product example.

You may resolve it(leave as Is) with a separate tire gage , to check The PSI.

Bourdon tube gauges are very reliable, and rarely stop working at all, though they can lose accuracy for a number of reasons.

If it's totally non-responsive, I'd suspect that the line feeding it may be clogged. Start by taking it apart to where you can unscrew the gauge, or it's line from the manifold, and test the pump for air flow to that line. If there is flow, check the gauge itself on a live air source and see if there's any action.

Haven't used a Spec pump, but when the gauge on the Avenir pump I had broke I just unscrewed the manometer and got a generic manometer with the same range and fitting (I think it's 1/4" pipe fitting) instead.

I also have a Specialized Air Station floor pump, whose gauge stopped working.
I contacted Specialized, and was told that they did not have any of those gauges in stock, and could not get them.
The guy said he would keep me in mind if they ever got a bad pump with a good gauge.
That was 4 years ago, and no word from them.
Pretty poor support for a $70.00 pump (bought while on vacation and I needed it...)
So, being the retired purchasing agent that I am, I purchased an Ashcroft gauge off mother Ebay.
2-3/4" diameter, 0-160# , 1/8" center back mount gauge that fit perfectly and has worked like a charm ever since.
The Ashcroft part # is 586-07. Look around on line-you will find one or an equivalent without a problem.
You may try W.W. Grainger or a local pneumatic supply house in your area.
Good luck.
