2005 Cannondale six13

I'm looking at one of these frames but I can't figure out what's going with the BB sizing. Apperently it's a Cannondale proprietary size? Hollow SI?

From the 2005 Cdale catalog:
"Bottom Bracket: Oversized hollow splined spindle w/sealed bearing"

Not very helpful. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I'd like to know what my options are for this bike, thanks!

If you remove the BB it will tell you the size (length) you need .

I don't have the frame in front of me (CL) and there is no bb currently installed. I will ask the seller if he knows but I was hoping to get some options from people with experience on here.

This is what the bike would had as a crankset , http://velospec.com/components/shimano/fc6600 ,with a build in BB . It a Shimano Ultegra 6600 50/34 .

The six13 looks like it has a standard english shell to me. It should be pretty obvious from the pictures if it is a pressfit or a threaded BB shell. If it is threaded, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't use Italian.

It is , with external bearing cup & seal bearings .

Ok thanks guys I'm pretty sure it's English. The original cranks were Campy but that doesn't necessarily mean it's Italian threaded correct?

Correct . Cannondale was America made . Now own by the same people who own Schwinn and others which is now a Canadian own company . But yes it is English .

They've still got the queen on all their coins up there. I think they're more English than the US of A. Anyways, both Campy and Shimano make English and Italian BBs. I can't think of any current manufacturer besides Italian ones than use Italian BBs. Part of it is that Italian BBs are in my mind an inferior design due to the thread direction of the fixed cup.
