Name of this part missing on a Shimano derailleur?

Hello

I lost a screw on my Shimano FD-R453 derailleur:

Now, the arm does move sideways, but I'm actually stuck on the middle chainring.

Before I call the store where I bought the bike, would someone know the name of that part that fell?

Thank you.

It looks like you are missing a hinge pin. You might be able to substitute a small machine screw with Nyloc nut or a nut with locktite (superglue).
Front derailleurs are relatively cheap. Yours is a "braze-on" type.

Thanks for the infos. I'll give it a deeper look tomorrow and see if I can find a machine screw of the same diameter.

It's a pressed in hinge pin but the parts list doesn't list it as being replaceable. Try a hardware store.

The R453 is a unique FD and can only be replaced with another R453 or possibly an R443.

Thanks. I'll find some pin or piece of wood of the same size than the original and glue it in place to see if it solves the problem.

If you can find a bolt or metal pin of the right diameter that's fine. Do not use wood.
