BB question

I've been gathering used parts for a build. Frame: Origin 8 Adrenaline uses a BB30, I bought a SRAM Red Carbon crankset 130bcd.
Question: what exact part size do I need for the bottom bracket. I know BB30 - bear with me(bike clueless).
Any random link would help. or specific sizing. Could it be BB30 130bcd? Thanks for your help!

Wait.... is that a pic of your frame? Not BB30, so you may be in store for some disappointment.

Is the SRAM crank BB30? It is not just the right BB you need but the right crank also.

So are you saying that the frame and the crankset are not compatible? No conversion kit?

What prompted you to buy the BB30 version of the crank? Is it returnable?

Your BB is English Thread.

No, bought on ebay. Obviously by inexperience. Frame = English Thread. Correct? Crank = BB30. Don't know one from the other. Is there a conversion kit? If there is not a kit, then I will resell the crankset on ebay. So if I purchase another SRAM Red crankset, are you saying that it has to be a english thread crankset?

That sucks. But, those cranks fetch a good price. Maybe you'll even make money with spring approaching.

You need a crank that is compatible with any English Thread BB.

So if you're going with Red, you need one that has outboard bearing cups. Let me go look.....

I believe you'll be looking to get a GXP BB.
https://www.sram.com/sram/road/products/sram-red-bb

The cups will screw in to your frame, leaving you with outboard bearings. Then the drive-side crank arm will slip in. Attach the non-drive side and you're done.

So I'm not completely screwed. I can keep the frame and the same SRAM RED crankset that I bought , but I need to use a GXP BB . Thank You so much for your help. I see the threads on the GXP BB. Hopefully this will work!

No.... You're still screwed. Sorry.

The BB30 crankset will not fit, and there is no conversion that will make it work with your frame (that's worth doing).

If your heart is set on Red, you need to sell the crank you have, and buy the GXP version of Red.

BB30 bearings are internal to the frame, so nothing about it is compatible with your frame.

Sadly, I see lots of options to convert a BB30 frame to English thread, but nothing to take you from English frame, to BB30 or Pressfit 30 cranks.

LOL, spirits down, spirits up, spirits down. Purchasing a new crank set isn't a problem. I shouldn't have any problem selling the one I bought - . Thanks again for your help.

Also, don't take my mention of GXP to mean you need to get a crank that uses GXP. My only point is you need gear that uses an English Thread BB. There are many options that meet this requirement.

The BB30 crank spindle is not long enough for threaded in outboard bearings. And the spindle diameter is too big for internal bearings. Sorry but you do need the recommended crank and threaded outboard bearings.
