Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

If you install them and properly torque them (25 to 30 lbft) they should stay tight. If not they are shot. I don't think they look too good.

OP, try to get your money back.

If you pay more than 50 bucks for those campagnolo? cranks then the guy really got you.

Sorry for the late reply. Just read all the comments. Thank you all for the opinions. This thread really blew up lol.

I tried tightening the cranks and they seem to hold but at the time I am not able to put it to a test with a ride. It was for a project bike and I don't have all the parts to build it up. Also pretty busy with school so not really much time to install it on another bike and ride it. I did however put both cranks on the frame and cranked them back and forth a bit quite hard with both hands on the arms, loosened the bolts and they were still tight. Probably will be a different story when riding maybe?

i would bet money that those cranks will not stay tight
they look wrecked to me

unless they were sold as likely damaged
get your money back
