Done like dinner!
After ordering aluminum spacers, three trips to Tacoma Screw and having to drill out a stripped nut that was behind the chain stay bridge, here she is.
I'll be damned if they're not rigid once the stays are tightened.
Comments/feedback/suggestions?

Nice fenders! Velo Orange hammered? I've got some and they're great. I noticed a little rattling between the seat stay clamp & fender so pushed a piece of old tube in there (can't see it), and now it's as quiet as can be. Some in the vintage crowd use a cork instead of the aluminum spacer.
So how do you like it?

The ONLY time my wife accepted a bike stand with a bike on it in the kitchen, was when I put fenders on HER bike.
Looks good. I like the look of those hammered AL fenders.
